The Birds of Paradise are a family of birds found in the New Guinea region that have evolved the most varied and most elaborate plumes and display behaviors in the bird world. The male birds of paradise have spectacular plumage that they use to attract mates. They also have different rituals that are preformed for the females. Tim Laman is currently working on the Birds of Paradise Project.
